Our first Beginners’ Class Night on Wednesday 14th November 2007
This picture above was taken during the Beginners’ Class.
The hall lights were on and you can clearly see that the dance floor is of first class quality.
“The best dance floor in Yorkshire!” said Walter, one of our crew members.
With almost 100 people in the hall, there was still plenty of room to dance.
No one had to squint or look around the room for little posters on the wall to see which moves were being taught.
Little touches such as this one make all the difference to how much pleasure you get out of your dance class night out.
A high stage so that you can see more of the dance teachers' footwork.
No need to stand around listening to announcements, we put ours up on a screen.
You can be kept informed and still keep dancing!

We rotate our playlists
We rotate our dance teachers
Our playlists are especially selected by experienced dancers, not just what the DJ likes!
Tracks must be great to dance to or we won’t have them.
Variety is the name of the game: Latin, Rock, Swing, Techno, etc..
No long pauses between tracks, no long intros/fade outs, all our tracks are edited – we want you to dance!
We have great light shows once the house lights go down.
We use our lighting effects to help create a great atmosphere.
Our Beginners’ Refresher Class is held in another room while the
more experienced dancers have their intermediate class in the main hall.
The refresher class was well received by the those who attended and
who received individual attention with tips on style and technique.
